4 Weeks into Financial Peace!

AND LOVING IT!!!  It has been a challenge going through all the paperwork, the budgeting, the debt snowball, all of it has been a little stressful.  I've found it is terrifying to me to finish budgeting and have my income minus my expenses equal 0.  But that is because we are taught that you should allot a place for everything otherwise you will waste it.  So it includes other bills and things that you pay randomly throughout the year, such as car repair, presents and Christmas, dental, eye doctor and home repair.  So you decide how much you should set apart for such things, and divide the number by 12, then save up that amount per month over the year.  It really helps when it comes to those things you usually forget or other things that would usually get put aside until last minute and then cost you fees.  When it comes to getting rid of debt we only have the Van to pay off, we already payed off the Visa and have those frozen in a cup in the freezer, we need to get them out and cut them up though!  So back to the van, we are going to make double payments, and hopefully we will have it payed off by July of 2012!  Seems like forever away, but it's better then 2014.  Well, there's a lot more to say, but I'm tired, so goodnight, feel free to send any questions my way.
